While you may or may not realize it, the OEM gearing in your gearbox utilizes the Falk Universal Tooth Form. Your gearbox is engineered to perform at peak efficiency using this proprietary gearing. Non-OEM gears can not be used in conjunction with OEM gearing and, perhaps most importantly, are rarely immediately available in the event you experience an emergency breakdown.
